What is Jin Shin Jyutsu?
Jin Shin Jyutsu is an art of healing that releases tensions, allowing the innate intelligence of the body to move it into greater harmony. The practitioner listens to the body's guidance via a person's pulse. By placing hands on specific energy centres known as Safety Energy Locks, stagnant, blocked or misaligned energy can be harmonized. By holding two SELs at once, the body is informed that the person is taking notice of their disharmony and is willing to heal. this activates our natural healing capacity.

In Jin Shin Jyutsu, the practitioner is considered to be the "jumper cables" channelling life-force into the body of the receiver, recharging their battery with the power of the Universal Battery of Life. Jin Shin Jyutsu is the knowing of why and how the flow of the Battery of Life can be kept in harmony, charged, and rejuvenated.

What is a Jin Shin Jyutsu session?
A person receives a session fully clothed, facing up on a softly-padded massage table. Jin Shin Jyutsu is not a massage and does not manipulate any tissues or muscles. The practitioner begins by holding the wrists of the person to feel the energetic pulse. This is the "in the moment expression" of vitality and the current state of being. The pulse reveals any areas where energy is blocked or needs support and guides the practitioner as to which energy flow (a series of steps) to use to facilitate healing.
A Jin Shin Jyutsu session usually lasts about 60 minutes, with the person receiving two to three harmonizing flows, depending on the person's needs of the day.
Each session is unique, as it caters to your needs on that day. Sometimes a person feels relaxed and may fall asleep. Or they may not feel any immediate shifts. There may also be big emotional releases, with the body releasing stuck energy to transmute it for healing. Sessions can also bring tremendous insight to help us in our life.
How much is a session?
A Jin Shin Jyutsu session is $100USD.

How many sessions do I need?
The benefits of Jin Shin Jyutsu are cumulative. The more frequently a person receives Jin Shin Jyutsu, whether from a practitioner or with Self-Help, the more quickly stuck energies are released and harmonized. It also enhances a person's awareness of when they are moving out of harmony.
At the end of each session, Self-Help suggestions are provided. These are tools for a person to maintain balance and to continue the effects of a session.
Receiving multiple sessions over the course of a few days is highly recommended. Three sessions in three days, for example, is great for clearing out blocked energy and helps the body maintain a higher frequency of well-being.
For more intense traumas or disharmonies, a person can receive two sessions in one day, with approximately eight hours in between.
What is Self-Help?
The ultimate goal of Jin Shin Jyutsu is to empower each of us to become masters of our own healing capacity. At the core of this beautiful healing art is Self-Help. This is giving ourselves simple holds or a series of steps (a flow) to address our disharmony for ourselves, or in between sessions.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is cumulative. It's much like building a muscle - the more Jin Shin Jyutsu you give yourself, the stronger this healing ability within each of us becomes. Self-Help expands our awareness of whether we are in balance and gives us tools to maintain it.
What are Safety Energy Locks?
Safety Energy Locks (SELs) are the body's circuit breakers. They alert us, with numbness or pain, as we fall out of balance. They lock up, just like a circuit breaker does when it becomes overloaded.
By placing our hands on these specific energy centers, stagnant, blocked or misaligned energy can move its way back into harmony. This can take anywhere from two to twenty minutes, as the practitioner listens deeply to the pulse flowing through their hands, between their body and the receiver's body. This is a very deep way of listening, as the practitioner listens with their fingertips, all their senses, and their full presence in the now.
